A truer "gentleman" I don't think you could find.
I think of you often, and feel honored and privileged to have met you. I'll never forget the stories you shared with me, but most of all I'll remember your warm manner
and most genuine personality.
You touched many, and are living on in all of our hearts.
You will never be forgotten.

My name is Katie. I'm a junior at sickles high school in Tampa fl. Today we honored the victims of 9/11 14 years later, to do so each student wore a ribbon representing each victim. I got Mr. Wisniewski. After reading about him it makes me think about his family and how much of a great man he was, and feel so much gratitude towards all those who knew him. I would like to send his family best wishes and to honor them for their loss.

Dad,

It's been 9 years and things have not been the same without you. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get over the way you died and start focusing on YOU. I feel like 9/11 had made it too painful to remember you in a beautiful light. but that is all changing. I am beginning to learn through stories of others and my sacred memories that the love you had for me was so much more than i have ever felt from anyone else. your emphasis on family and the bond that exists through good and bad sticks with me. i wear your watch everyday. although it doesn't work and its always 2:20. i know if you were here we would be so close. i miss your stories, your intelligence, your vibrant character, your honesty. there is so much i wish we could talk about. things have really fallen apart since you died. you were the glue. you are so missed. i will always keep your spirit and memory alive. i will always be your "peach".

I was a business associate/friend of Paul, and I think of him often. Paul got the Cashiers job at Municipal Partners, after we both interviewed with George Rochat and Ken Pfor for the position. I was the Cashier at Clifford Drake & Co at the time. I was very disappointed in not getting the job, but I was happy for Paul. I guess for now, God has other plans for me. My prayers and thoughts will always be with Paul and his family. Jeff Hamel - e-mail address - [email protected]

My Uncle Frankie was the most wonderful man you would ever meet. I truly miss his warm hugs. He definately lit up the room when he entered. I am reading all these fond memories of my Uncle. I am glad you all got to share his warm, caring frienship. I will always remember going to his house in Katonah with my cousins. He had the best of everything and always shared that with his family. I remember playing pool, pin ball and swimming in the kidney shaped pool and diving off the big beautiful rock. Swimming at night under the stars. And of course how could I forget swinging from the big tire on the HUGE tree! How about having a treasure hunt and you taking us for a ride on your lawn mower! What about the nights you played pinnacle for hours! I loved sleeping over your house and Nana would make us pancakes, eggs and juice. Can't forget the racoons and deer that woudl visit at night. I have SO many fond memories of our family. It's not the same since you are gone. You are the missing link to our family. We love you and think about you all the time. Until we meet again
Your loving niece,
Nadine

We are approaching the third anniversary of that horrible day in September, a day that will never be forgotten. You are still sorely missed by all who knew & loved you. You were always full of joy and smiles, even as a kid. I can relate to you singing the oldies and dancing around the room. I also know, you, in the privacy of your home, would tell about and teach your kids the songs i.e., “With a Hand on Mineself, Vas is Das Here?”

We are all blessed to have known you, either as family members, friends, or business acquaintances. You probably had no business acquaintances for long, for once people met you, you became their friend, that was YOU. I’m honored to have had you as a first cousin and godfather of my oldest daughter, at whose wedding in ’91, you did a beautiful reading. THANK YOU FOR BEING THE PERSON YOU WERE AND STILL ARE. You may not physically be with us but your spirit will ALWAYS be. I pray, if we’re worthy, that we’ll all see you again on the other side of those pearly gates. Keep looking over and protecting your children, they are as nice as their parents.

I met Paul when I first started out on Wall St. with Salomon Brothers & Hutzler. He and Frank Boyd were at JJ Kenny and they took me to my first business luncheon. Over the years our paths crossed on numerous occasions. He was a great guy and always had a smile. He was always up and liked a good practical joke. The world is a little less without his presence.

Carol,

I just recently learned of this site due to my sister-in-law losing her brother on 911. He was a firefighter. In looking through names, I discovered Paul's name and was totally shocked and saddened to learn that you were also affected by that disastrous day.

Please know that you are in my thoughts and if there is anything I can do, I would love to be there for you.

I hope you and the kids are finding your way back from the horrors of 911. God Bless.

Paul hired me at J.J.Kenny in 1975, I worked there until 1988 when I was expecting my first child with my husband who I met at J.J.Kenny. Paul was a great guy, and I have so many great memories especially when they would "roll the bar out " after hours. Paul would sing his oldie songs and we woluld all have some real good laughs after a hard days work ! God rest his soul, and pray to God for us Paul to help us win this war.

Paul and I met at JJ Kenny in early 1971.

We became the best of friends, travelled together to Canada and Conn and would

have dinner at each others apartments every other night for many years. Paul was the most endearing person. Althought we had not spoken in some time he was my best friend. Constant, supportive a true bon vivant. I loved him and feel lucky to have spent time with him.

Deepest condolances and warm regards

To the Wisniewski family-

May God be with you, and bless you for all the years to come.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Wisniewski and the Wisniewski family years ago, from baby-sitting their two children. I have never met a father and husband more dedicated to his family. God rest his soul, and deliver him to heaven. Amen.

Paul and I go way back....I was a young 18 yr old working my first job in Manhattan at JJKenney. I loved the job, unfortunately, I loved all the other things the city had to offer. I was late one too many times for work and my wonderful boss, Paul Wisniewski fired me.

OK, FAST FORWARD 23 years...Basking Ridge, NJ.....my son, had a great friend in school named Jonathan. We had Jon over for a play date and his mom, Carol, and I became wonderful friends. My daughter and Ali were also in the same grade and likewise became friends. I kept looking at this man, Paul, and wondering why his name and face seemed so familiar, when one day while at a function for the kids, it came to me! This was my boss that had fired me so many years ago!

I thought, how is that possible, I lived on Long Island,he lived on Staten Island, what are the chances that we would move to the same community and have children the same ages so many years later?

How could I tell Carol and Paul that I was that irresponsible, foolish 18 yr. old?

Well, it took me months, but, one day as Carol and I sat out on my deck while the boys played I asked her where Paul worked and where he used to work. Confirmed!! It was the same Paul. I begged Carol to explain to Paul that I had changed and matured.

Paul was so wonderful and after that whenever I saw him, I called him "Boss" .

Paul and Carol lit up the room when they entered. Carol still does, but, her light is just a little dimmed for now. We will all help her through this.

Love,

Kathy G.

To the Wisniewskis:

God rest Frank and God bless all of you. I don't know anything more about him than what I have read here, but as a teenager I watched the towers being built, and my nephew (now in his teens) witnessed the attack from the Jersey side.

Now when I turn up the oldies and dance with my wife and our baby daughter, for what it's worth, I will do so with even louder and bigger and with greater joy, in honor of Frank.

Paul befriended me when I was transferred to NYC by my firm. He worked for JJKenny at that time, 1980. We were the same age. He teased me about being a vegetarian. I saw him though the years at industry conferences. Nice guy. So warm. I was a little afraid of New York, the brusk attitude. He made me feel welcome in the big city. I'll always appreciate that.

Paul, I miss seeing your smiling, friendly face. How I wish we never bought MPI so that you wouldnt have been there on the 11th. You were one of the nicest men I have ever worked with. Thanks for always calling down after a job to say thank you, we always appreciated that. Watch over your family, I miss you buddy.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
