Frankie Eugene (Gene) Arnold, Jr 71, of Independence, KS passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on March 17th, 2024. He was born in Independence, KS to Frankie Arnold and Ida Schafer. He proudly served 23 years in the United States Army. It was during this time that he met his wife Christa. Together they have two children, Christoph and Olivia. After retiring from the Army, they settled in Cherryvale where he worked for Montgomery County for 22 years.

He is survived by his wife Christa Arnold of the home, brother David Arnold, his son Christoph Arnold and wife, daughter Olivia Arnold, two grandchildren, Nathan and Reagan and one great-grandson. Frank also has numerous cousins.

 

We will always treasure the memory of his warmth and kindness. He never met a stranger, was always ready with a helping hand and a joke to brighten someone’s day. His absence will be felt deeply by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

 

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Potts Chapel. Service information will be updated when they come available.
