Frankie Jo Solesbee Henderson, 86, of Inman, SC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 26, 2025, at her residence.
Born in Holly Springs, SC, on September 5, 1939, Frankie was the daughter of the late Wiley W. and Pearl Clayton Solesbee. She was married to Donald “Don” Henderson for 63 years, a testament to enduring love and partnership.
Frankie was a gifted seamstress and a beloved baker. She worked for Springs Industries and later owned and operated Country Plaza Bakery for many years, where her talent and warmth touched countless lives. She was a long-time member of Holly Springs Baptist Church in Inman, SC.
She is survived by her loving husband, Don, and their three children: Donna (Greg) Dimsdale, Joe (Kim) Henderson, and Tara (Billy) Melton. She was a proud Mimi to eight grandchildren: David (Keeley) Grigg, Trevor (Shelby) Dimsdale, Avery (Faith) Dimsdale, Preston Dimsdale, Tripp Melton, Meredith Henderson, Carleigh Reece Melton, and Addison Henderson. Her legacy continues through five great-grandchildren: Addy Rae Grigg, Abe Grigg, Branch Dimsdale, River Dimsdale, and Averie Jo Dimsdale.
In addition to her parents, Frankie was preceded in death by her siblings: James Solesbee, Faye Solesbee, Louise Sullens, Willie Mae Garrett, Pauline Fowler, Mildred Whiteside, Ella Fowler, Loney Kyle, Ruben Solesbee and Linda Gayle.
The family will receive friends at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Inman, SC, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 3:00 to 3:45 PM. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 4:00 PM, officiated by Rev. David Grigg and Rev. Ben Whitmire. Burial will take place in the Holly Springs Baptist Church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holly Springs Baptist Church or Agape Hospice 706 E. Main St. Spartanburg SC 29302.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Agape Hospice for their loving care and kindness over the past ten months.
