Funeral services for Mr. Frankie Matthews will be held at 2 PM Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Linwood Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Lovern and Rev. Bert Jones officiating. Interment will be in Linwood Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service at Linwood Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5 PM – 8 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Mr. Matthews, 73, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, at his home. He lived most of his life in Neshoba County and was a member of Macedonia Revival Center Church. He was a small engine repairman, and his hobbies were hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Savell Matthews.

Survivors include daughter, Haley Lovern (Justin); son, Justin Kyle Matthews McMillan; sisters, Paulette Files, Gail Land; brothers, Gary Matthews, Delbert Matthews; (5) grandchildren, Alexandria Goolsby, Fisher, Hunter, Paxton McMillan, Matthew Lovern.

Pallbearers are Glen Nicholson, Hunter McMillan, Fisher McMillan, Tommy Parker, Mike Savell, Miles Ingram.
