She accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. At a young age she relocated to Oakland California, attending Prescott Elementary and Oakland Technical High School.
Nana was a Queen Bee, a historian with a wealth of knowledge and lived experiences. She was unapologetic to controversy and stood her ground against the odds of life.throughout her entire life. She was hospitable, hilarious, someone who loved sipping and spilling the tea; but to her grands and great-grands she was Nana and she was more than enough.
Over the course of her life she shared many cherished relationships among family and friends; blessing love ones with her delicious meals, end of the call kisses ("That's Some Good Shugga There") birthday and holiday gifts.
On October 11, 2025, Nana was called home to our Heavenly Father and entered into eternal rest.
