Franklin D. Hines, age 88, of Logansport, passed away Thursday Oct. 19, 2023, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born December 16, 1934, in White County, IN to the late Thomas and Julia (Carlson) Hines. On August 17, 1958, in Burnettsville, IN he married Judith Allen who preceded in death on January 13, 2011. On June 16, 2012, he married Juanita Stanton Fry who survives.
Frank retired from Monon Trailer after several years of service. He was a Veteran serving in the Indiana National Guard and also farmed.
Survivors, include his wife Juanita and one daughter, Shelly (Pat) Haskins, Monon; four sons, Don Hines, Winamac; Bruce (Buffy) Hines, Bulls Gap, TN; John (Kim Miller) Hines, Logansport; Scott (Janette) Hines, Royal Center; stepdaughter, Paula Copp, Walton; three sisters, Donna Dillenburg, PA; Rhetta Zerth, Monticello; and Judy Rowe, Monticello; brother, Glen (Nancy) Hines, Kokomo; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. John’s cemetery near Logansport.
A visitation time will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 26, 2023, also in the funeral home.
