Franklin Ray “Frank” Jeffries, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2024 at his residence after several months of failing health.  He was born in Alamance County on July 6, 1938 to the late Carl Theodore and Rose Etta Phillips Jeffries.

A carpenter by trade, Frank enjoyed spending time outdoors, often fishing, four-wheeling or collecting arrowheads.  He was also an avid hunter, winning numerous trophies and awards throughout the years.

He is survived by his partner of 64 years, Bobby Newman Brown; great nieces (like daughters), Toni Walker (Byran) and their daughter, Londyn; Tori Lynn Brown (Jacob Guerrero) and their daughter, Gracelyn; sister, Fannie Tabor; nephews, Danny Horner (Gina), Brad Jeffries (Lindsey); nieces, Pam Ward (Ricky), Penny Rudd (Scott), Elaine Jeffries, Sherrie Jeffries; sister-in-law, Pat Jeffries and other extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold Jeffries, Kasier Jeffries, Kenneth Jeffries; sister, Billie Horner and brothers-in-law, Arnold Tabor and Everette Horner

A graveside service to celebrate Frank’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Elwood Dodson.   The family will receive friends at the home.
