I have buried an infant and adult son. Please, know that my heart has been where yours is today. I have watched your beautiful family grow and I know that there are no words that can bring comfort at this time. I also know that your faith is strong and your family has a supportive unit. Rely on that faith and support to bring you through this time knowing that Franklin is "safe in the arms of Jesus".

Prayer for Grief
Oh mighty God,
We come together here, to ask for your strength and power of love to fill our hearts. You know what is laying heavy on our hearts at this time. As we laid down one of your children. We believe he is with you now in heaven. Please Lord give us the strength to carry on without him. We know our time here is short, but we are not ready to let go. As our family comes together in this time of grief. We all share the love and joy we had with him. His life will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Lord please lay your hand on us. That we will feel the peace you offer. You have said in Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Thank you for your reminder that we will hold onto the faith carrying us through. Your gracious words cover us like a blanket.
Amen
