Franklin Sowards Obituary
Franklin worked for many years at Montgomery Mill in Delta, PA, and later at Phillips Saw Mill in Fawn Grove, PA. He retired from Waterford Apartments in York, PA, where he took great pride in his work as the complex's custodian. Franklin was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need and had a special bond with his beloved dog, "Precious."
He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer and Amanda; his seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his sisters, Barbara Filipiak and Donna Streett; his brother, Raymond A. Sowards, and his niece, Judy Phillips with whom he resided. Franklin was preceded in death by his siblings Wilma, Wanda, Donald, Doyle, Robert, James, Etta, Rosa, and Laura.
Services for Franklin will be held at the convenience of the family.
