Fred G. Adams, 85, a life-long resident of Lititz; beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2025 surrounded by his family at UPMC, Lititz. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Roy and Alta Zuck Adams. Fred was the loving husband of Patricia “Pat” Tangert Adams and they observed their 62nd wedding anniversary in April of this year. Throughout his life Fred worked as a welder/fabricator, retiring from Richter Precision Inc., East Petersburg. He was a 1958 graduate of Warwick High School.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Pat, are two daughters: Deanna Adams wife of Larry Warolin of Michigan, Melissa A. wife of Hugh Montgomery of Manheim, two grandchildren: Hugh husband of Destiny Montgomery, Rebecca Montgomery fiancée of Seth Bernstein, a great grandson, Mason Montgomery, and a brother, R. Lynn husband of Susan Adams of York.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment in Witness Park Cemetery, Lititz. Those desiring may send contributions in Fred’s memory to: Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602.
