Fred served honorably in the United States Navy as a Fireman Second Class during World War II. In 1960 he became a Court Reporter for the NYS Supreme Court before his retirement in 1988. Fred was very active at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Colonie. He was also a member of the Elks and the Knights of Columbus. Fred was known for his quick wit and kind generous demeanour.
Fred is survived by his five children Frederick W. Baugh Jr., John R. Baugh, Kathleen A. Baugh, Robert J. Baugh (Corina) and Deirdre A. Baugh (Kevin C. Martin). He was the loving grandfather to Elena Baugh and Connie Baugh.
In addition to his wife, Fred is predeceased by his siblings, Agnes, Robert, Lilah, Grace, Jesse and Gordon.
