Fred Beaudry

Fred was born on May 10, 1930 and passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Fred was a resident of Owego, New York at the time of passing. He graduated from Homer High School (Homer Academy) in 1947, and attended The Governor's Academy in South Byfield, MA in the Class of 1948, and Rider College in Trenton, NJ from 1948-1950. He served in the US Army in the Occupation of Germany after World War II, with the 118th Combat Engineer Battalion, 43rd Infantry Division from 1951to 1953, where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. A Funeral Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Union Church, North Avenue Owego, NY on Tuesday January 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Lisa Heckman officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Glenwood Cemetery, Homer, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to the Rotary Foundation, 142 Center Drive, Chicago, IL 60693.
