Fred Beene, Jr. was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 14, 1933, to Fred A. Beene and Stella G. Beene and went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2025, at the age of 92. Fred proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Fred is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years Ofelia V. Beene, parents Fred A. Beene and Stella G. Garcia, brothers Billy and Leroy Beene, and son in law Peter Batista. Survivors include his loving children: daughters, Velma Beene and Carol Morales (David); sons, Fred Beene III (Natalie) and James Beene, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and other loving family members and friends. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Brookehill Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. shelter #3.
