Uncle Fred was one of the best story tellers - my mom said he had the Carroll gift of gab. When I was little, I wasn't sure if that was good or bad - all I knew was that when he started to tell a story, you had better take a deep breath because soon you'd be laughing so hard you wouldn't be ABLE to breath at all. Cokie and family, you're all in my prayers.

Enjoyed the trips Herbert & Corine &
Sam & Shirley made to NE to see
family. Also saw Herbert engaging
in much laughter with his family when
visited there in l967. You have our
