Fred C. Evans Sr.

Fred C. Evans Sr., 75, of Summit Hill, passed on Jan. 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the son of the late Edward Evans Sr. and the late Marion (Shuck) Evans.

He was a graduate of Panther Valley High School.

He was the owner and mechanic of Evans Auto Body until his retirement.

He enjoyed racing quarter midget with his grandson Dylin. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, going camping and his passion for trains.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 10 years, Mary Ann (Hutta) Evans, also of Summit Hill.

Also surviving are children Fred Evans Jr. and Victor Turner, husband of Pamela, both of Summit Hill, Christopher Turner, husband of Jamie, and Joanne Turner, companion of Lou Labosky, both of Tamaqua, David Turner, fiancé of Nicole, of Lansford, and Regina D'Ancona, wife of Marco, of Nesquehoning; grandchildren, Dylin, Edward, Zachary, Abbey, Kobe, Caitlyn, Ryan, Leah, Ethan, Jason, Catherine, Francesca, Christopher, Sieanna, Agostino, Vincenzo and Isabella; great-grandchildren, Rhett Michael, Stefan, Saint Richard, Haely and Ethan Jr.; brothers, John "Jackie" Evans, companion of Jayne, and Edward Evans Jr., husband of Barb, both of Summit Hill; and plenty of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He will also be missed by his beloved pets, Buddy and MowMow.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Thomas "Bootsie" Evans; his loving daughter, Lisa Ann (Evans) Kerr; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Marie.

Service: A Celebration of Life service for Fred will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been placed in the care of the Parambo Funeral Home of Summit Hill. Online condolences may be shared at www.parambofh.com.
