Paul & Sandra,
On behalf of the membership of the USS Bennington Association, please accept our condolences on the loss of your father Fred.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and we thank you for his service to God & Country country.
As your dad now stands "The Eternal Watch", please know that in August of this year, in Bennington, Vermont; at the Ship's Bell Monument, we'll be holding our annual Memorial Wreath Laying Ceremony and your dad's name will be read from the listing and the bell shall toll in his memory.
Fred may be gone from us but as long as his memory remains in just one of us, he shall be remembered always.
With My Deepest Sympathy,
Joseph Pires
