Fred Habegger

Leaving for AZ this morning and thinking of Fred lately. Will miss visiting him for a quick chat.

I have so many fond memories of Fred he was such a great neighbor. If you ever needed anything he seemed to always have it. I can still remember the day we bought the house next door I was painting in the kitchen and Fred brought over a scraper. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Fred was the best neighbor anyone could ever hope for. Sincerely, Lenzie Hennagir Henning Mn.

To my dear friend Karen and family;
You must know that many of my best childhood memories include thoughts of your Dad and your family. Remember the Saturday night car trips to Snyder's to get the Sunday paper and a candy bar (always a Charleston Chew!)? Or, how about the hikes on the railroad tracks from Chaska to Shakopee? Ice skating on the rink, hot chocolate afterwards; playing tennis against the wall at St. Peter's; having tea parties with POP Shoppe soda; and making forts on the clothesline. And lastly, the time we slept out in the motorhome and made a mess in the sink!! We were blessed to grow up with you and to know your parents.

You couldn't ask for a better neighbor and family friend. Fred, Flo, and their children were our neighbors for 33 years in Richfield. My family mourns his passing. He will be missed.

We first met Fred in 2000 when we bought our fist villa next to him in Green Valley. He sort of took us under his wing as we were only "50." We found out he knew our uncle (Broker family)from St. Peter's church and so we had a connection from the start. We were glad we took a few minutes out of our hectic schedule to stop and visit him last January when we were in AZ for 3 days. He was a good man.

To the Habegger Family & especially my longtime friend, Karen:
I have the most fond memories of spending countless hours at your home while I was growing up & of seeing your Dad working around the house, asking about my dad and showing us how to make turtle soup (remember, Karen? If not, I'll refresh your memory when I see you!) I sure will miss coming over to the house on Blaisdell and seeing your folks sitting in the kitchen watching the ballgame, but carry great memories of all those times.

Please accept my sympathy during this time.
