Fred Layne Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sebrell Funeral Home on Dec. 23, 2024.
Fred Jerome "Ricky" Layne, 68, of Raymond, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024. Born on December 16, 1956, he was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
Ricky was a man who lived life to the fullest. He found joy in the simple pleasures, from riding his Harley to grilling with family and friends. Above all, he cherished the time spent with those he loved. His warm heart, generous spirit, and great sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Ricky is survived by his three daughters, Elizabeth Giuffria (Joe), Heather Smith, and Stephanie Brown (Will Tucker); his grandchildren, Kyle Smith, Haley Brown, Madison Brown, Shelby Smith, Alex Brown, and Catherine Faye Giuffria; and his great-grandchildren, Everleigh Marie and Laynee Rae. He is also survived by his two sisters, Nita Morgan (Glen) and Rose Bonelli (John), along with many friends and extended family who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Sebrell Funeral Home, beginning at 2:00 PM, with a memorial service immediately following at 3:00 PM. The family invites all who knew and loved Ricky to join them in celebrating his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in his honor.
Rest easy, Ricky, and ride on.
