Fred was born November 27, 1960 to Roxie and Edmon Mathieu Sr. Fred lived most of his life in Bingham and Moscow, Maine. He worked in mills, as well as the woods. He loved using mules to haul the trees, as well as his racing.
Fred and Judy Barlow were together for 28 years and raised six kids, Fred Barlow. Crystal Brown, Tanya Pinkham, Tammy Blanchard, Phinny Marshall, and Victoria Pinkham. Fred was Bampie to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his love of 28 years Judy Barlow and his son Fred Barlow.
Fred found love again and married Bernadette Stevens in December of 2021, and also accepted two step daughters, Beth Lamott and Tiffany Stevens.
There will be a graveside service held in Pierce Cemetery in Solon on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM with a gathering to follow.
