Fred Duray Overman

On behalf of my sisters, and our step-sister Ruth and our families, we sincerely appreciate your heartfelt prayers and expressions of kindnesses during this holiday season, as my father joined Ruth's mother, Patti, and our other beloved angel family members and loved ones in Heaven. His sudden departure from us during this special holiday time was made more joyful, as each and every one of you wrapped your loving thoughts and prayers around us. I would especially like to acknowledge the compassionate and loving care from his beloved friends and family of God at Grand Ecore Rd. Baptist Church in Natchitoches. Bro. Wayne, Bro. Larry and the dearest souls who lovingly brought food and visited regularly were most appreciated. You each had a special place in my Dad's heart. Also, to the Hospice care team that ministered to him weekly, Thank you. As Fred Overman is now within each of us in our hearts, we can all know that there is" Heaven on Earth" for all, and he would wish a most Joyous and Blessed New Year for each and everyone with profound Gratitude & Love.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a sweet man. I haven't known him for very long but was such a dear. He will be missed. The family are in my prayers.
