Fred C. Whittier

Fred was born on February 10, 1924 and passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017. Fred was a resident of Maine. He attended Farmington schools. he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served under General Patton in the M7 Tank Division seeing action on D-Day. Visitation will be held on July 7, 2017 from 6-8pm at Adams-McFarlane Funeral & Cremation Services, 108 Court St., Farmington. A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home on July 8, 2017 at 11:00am. A private family service at the Veterans Cemetery in Augusta will take place at a later date.
