Freda Ann Hogue, 64, of Amarillo, Texas went to her angels on March 13, 2026.
Services will be at 2:30 P.M., Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, with Karen Wells officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Freda was born in Trion, Georgia on September 26, 1961, to Doris Faye Harris and Joseph Harris. She devoted her time to renovating her current residence. Freda loved playing bingo. She owned and operated the snack shack within the bingo hall, Goldstar bingo, everyone loved Nana’s cooking. The only thing Freda loved more than cooking for her family and friends was sunflowers.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Doris Faye Harris; father, Joseph Harris; brother, Ricky Harris; sister, Linda Covey; and her fur baby, Charlie.
She is survived by her lifelong friend, Glenn Bishop of Amarillo, TX; her children, Tiffany Adams of Amarillo, TX, Justin and Christin “Raymond” Marnell of Amarillo, TX, Dusty and Whitney Marnell of Edmond, OK, and Wyatt and Rachel Bishop, of Canyon, TX; eight grandkids, Macie Marnell and fiancé Ben Bergeron, Brayden Marnell and Val Enriquez, Keegan Marnell and Rayna Grim, Tatum Marnell, Bayleigh Marnell, and Harrison Marnell; two great-grandchildren, Jakxtyn and Kaysen; sisters, Kathy Beach and husband Bobby, of Westville, OK, and Wanda Broughton, of Colombia, SC; lifelong friends, Mikey and Jamie Jernigan of Canadian, TX; her four-legged children, Itty and Sammy; and many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins.
