Freddie L. Branson, 83 of Dandridge, TN and formerly of Harlan, KY entered Heaven on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Jefferson Park at Dandridge Nursing Facility. She was born on September 17, 1942, in Harlan. She was a former Dietitian at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital for many years, a talented musician, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and member of Jefferson City Church of God.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Williams and Louise Morgan Williams and her husband, Glen Branson.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda (Bubby) Posey of Dandridge, TN and Melissa (Barry) Gilliam of Church Hill, TN; grandchildren, Meagan Templeton, Jessica Stewart, Kara-Glyn Jarvis, Shelbea Posey, Anna Posey Lovett, and Austin Posey; and twelve great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge on Friday evening March 6th from 5-7PM.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday. March 7th at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Cureton and Pastor Troy Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge.
Pallbearers will be James Lovett, Austin Posey, Jay Templeton, Sean Jarvis, and Andrew Stewart.
