Freddie Johnson

Freddie Johnson, 73, of Rossville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Landon Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm in the funeral home Chapel. Pallbearers will be; Ron Lamb, Dillon Johnson, Austin Spires, Eugene Crews, and Dustin Johnson. Freddie was born on October 27, 1950 to the late Lewis Manford Johnson and Cecil Lee Johnson in Moultrie, GA. He married Doris Marie Barnes Johnson who preceded him in death in October of 2016. Survivors include; his children, Jennifer Johnson of Sandhill, GA, Fredrick Johnson of Chickamauga, GA, and Dennis Johnson of Woodstock, GA, siblings, Mary Lamb of Cairo, GA, Prezzie Poule of Moultrie, GA, Carolyn Rowe of McMinnville, TN, and James Johnson of Moultrie, GA, grandchildren, Logan Spires of Cairo, GA, Dillon Johnson, Emily Johnson, and Dustin Johnson, all of Chickamauga, GA, Kasi Johnson of Sandhill, GA, and Evelyn Yu of Woodstock, GA, great-grandchildren, Kaleb Spires, Grayson Spires, and Dawson Spires, all of Cairo, GA. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by, siblings, Clyde Johnson, Walter Johnson, Lewis Johnson, Jr., Joseph Johnson, Alice Smith, and Barbara Johnson.
