Freddy Lee Baxley, age 72, of Dardanelle, died Monday, January 12, 2026, at Dardanelle Regional Medical Center.
He was born September 9, 1953, in Long Beach, California to Willis Lee and Wilma Sue Choate Baxley.
He was a master electrician and the owner of Baxley Electric. He served in the Army National Guard for over 21 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lisa Kay Baxley and Vicki Jo Gallaher; a niece, Letha "Missy" McGuire; and a great-niece, Ka'Liyah Collins.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Teresa Baxley; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Chrystal Baxley of Dardanelle; a daughter, Sarah Shepherd; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda Sherman and Bob Solomon of Dover, Laura and Eugene Rogers of Oark and Shelly and Robert Holt of New Blaine; a brother-in-law and his wife, Mike and Cindy Musgrave;11 grandchildren, Kacy, Michelle, Lacey, Alexis, Cameron, Aedyn, Kaylen, Jared "Bubba", Payton, Caleb and Chelsea; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousin and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Scott Garrison officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-6 p.m., at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Laven Wood, Jason Holt, Dustin Haney, Cameron Baxley, Jared "Bubba" Hill, Caleb Burnett, and Justin Brannon.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Brown, Aedyn Shepherd, Benny Goff, Sissy Goff, Dr. Andy Henry, Dr. Lisa Ivy, Dr. Allan Kirkland, Dr. Shannon Souza, and the members of the 239th Arkansas National Guard.

Freddy was a great guy, and I have many fond memories of our years working together at Dependable Air. I still remember having to tell him I'd accepted another job back in '97. He was gracious, but it was hard to leave after all of our road trips together doing telephone building upgrades. Blessings and peace to the family.
