Frederick Lee Border

Frederick L. Border, Jr., age 70, of Andover, Ohio, died at his home on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. He was born July 15, 1955, in Pitcairn, PA, the son of Frederick L. Border, Sr. and Gertrude A. (Diable) Border. Fred was a resident of Andover for the past 17 years where he was proud to serve as Andover village zoning officer. He had retired from U.S. Steel in Dravosburg, PA, after 30 years of employment. He was an avid train and Hot Wheel enthusiast and enjoyed tinkering and fixing engines and anything with wheels. Fred is survived by his 4 daughters, Brandi Reed of Monroeville, PA, Debbie McWilliams of Plum, PA, Vanessa Baker of Tarentum, PA, and Corrin Gandy of Surprise, AZ; his 12 grandchildren; and his sister, Theresa Kochugha of West Newton, PA. He is preceded in death by his parents.
