Frederick Joel Bushnell

Frederick J. Bushnell, 87, of Beverly, Massachusetts, passed away on February 18, 2026.
Born on October 17, 1938, in Lynn, Frederick was the son of Joel and Blanche Bushnell of Nahant. He grew up in Nahant, where he developed a lifelong love of the sea and sailing. Those early experiences remained close to his heart and were among his fondest memories throughout his life.
Frederick worked for many years as a finished carpenter; a craft he truly loved and took great pride in. His skill, dedication, and appreciation for fine workmanship were evident in all he did.
He was predeceased by his sister, Susan Kane. Frederick is survived by his beloved wife, Charlotte; his children, Liz McHugh, Michael, Mark, and Melissa; his grandchildren; and several nieces and a nephew.

A celebration of Frederick's life will be held on Sunday, March 22nd, from 1-5 p.m. at Supino's Italian Restaurant in Danvers, Massachusetts.
