Frederick Peter Fingerlin

Frederick "Fred" Peter Fingerlin Jr., 59, of Bayville, passed away on November 4, 2021 at Community Medical Center surrounded by his devoted and loving family. Fred was born in Elizabeth NJ on March 27, 1962 and grew up in Sayerville NJ before moving to Bayville with his wife to raise his family. He was the owner and operator of Ideal Carpet Care for 35 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Christin of 34 years; his four children Samantha and son-in-law Michael Clayton of St Petersburg Fla, Kristopher "KC" Fingerlin of Bayville, Brianna Fingerlin of Bayville, and Zachary Fingerlin of Bayville. His 3 grandchildren whom adored him: Jake Fingerlin, Luke and Matt Clayton. His father Fred Fingerlin Sr., his Mother-In-Law Carol Boris, three brothers, one sister and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his Mother Melita.
In his spare time Fred loved fishing. He was happiest when he was out on the boat with his wife Christin and Father-In-Law Charles Boris. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his many friends. He was always hosting a Barbeque in his yard to enjoy the pool and summer months.
Visitation will be held at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd (Route 9 South) Bayville NJ 08721 Wednesday November 10, 2021 from 1pm – 4pm. Cremation will be private.
