Frederick Douglas Hines, 63, of Hopkins, passed away on March 4, 2026. He was born on September 14, 1962, in Chicago, to Joel and Precious (Butler) Hines.
Fred had a passion for drag racing and could often be found working on cars. He also had a deep interest in CB radios, bowling and fishing. When it was time to relax, Fred loved watching football, cheering on his favorite teams and spending time with family.
Fred is survived by his sons, Johnny Rimpson, Frederick (Shameka) Hines II, Julius Hines, and Pramethius Hines; and by his eight cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles (Susie) Hines and Joel Hines Jr., along with many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joel and Precious Hines, and his granddaughter, Azariah.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
