UNION TOWNSHIP - Frederick Douglas Imhoff, age 76, passed away on February 27, 2024. He was born on June 1, 1947, to the late Richard Imhoff I and the late Mary Imhoff (nee Shaffer). Fred was the devoted husband of Yvonna "Lynn" Imhoff; loving father of Aaron Dane (Valerie) Imhoff and the late Lisa Michelle Imhoff; step-father of Joseph (Erica) Carpenter; cherished grandfather of Tiffany Arnett, Alex Wilson, Austin Harris, Anastasia Rose Imhoff, Dalton Carpenter, and Lorelei Carpenter; great-grandfather of Roman Penza; and dear brother of Gail Imhoff, the late Richard Imhoff II, and the late Tony Imhoff. Fred is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Fred proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War completing two tours. Throughout his life he owned numerous Harley Davidson motorcycles, making many friends along the way. Fred loved animals of all kinds and enjoyed fishing.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial gathering at the VFW Post 9630 - 4238 #1 Stoddard Lane, Batavia, Ohio 45103, on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 5PM-8PM. Military honors will also be observed.
