Dayle, i´m so sad to hear of Fred passing away. My dad, Fred and the guys spent a lot of Fridays together for a lot of years. They worked hard, but they really enjoyed their Friday lunches in Napa Valley. They lived good lives and made a lot of good memories. They were very fortunate. I know Fred will truly be missed. My deepest condolences to you and the kids. My heart goes out to you and may your broken heart begin to heal slowly.

Fred was a very dear long time friend. He was my advisor at St. Vincent High School and a mentor for a life time after that. I can´t express what his friendship meant to me. He helped me navigate some difficult times. When he called me a couple of years ago to tell me of his illness I was dealing with my wife´s stage four cancer. The strength, courage and joy he showed me helped sustain me. I will always treasure his friendship.

I am so sorry to hear of Fred's passing and offer my deepest sympathy to Dayle and his family. I have know Fred for over 60 years and always found him to be a loyal friend, strong Vallejo supporter and most importantly a fantastic husband and father. I remember the Commandants, his active membership on the City of Vallejo Planning Commision, his devotion to the Knights of Columbus and of course his and Fred Sessler's devotion, as well as others, in keeping the Wino's Luncheon alive for many years. Even though he was a St. Mary's Alumni, he was one of the good guys..Rest in Peace my Friend. Will miss you Terry Curtola
