Frederick Kessenger Obituary
Frederick “Frank” Kessenger, 73, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, April 13, while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. He was born May 11, 1949, to the late William H. and Barbara E. (Tindle) Kessenger. Frank was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed classic country music, watching western TV shows, and Sunday breakfast with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his brothers, William “Billy” Jr., Ernie, Jimmy, LeRoy, and Leon Kessenger; sisters, Diana Keown and Sophie Aubrey; and special friends, Connie and Gary McElwain.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Loretta Lacefield; brothers, Wayne, Ricky, Rocky, and Johnny Kessenger; sister, Linda Shouse; special friends, Francis Rice (Ronnie), Tosia Barnett (Steve), and Shanan Owen (Charlie); as well as many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Frank will be 2 PM Friday, April 19, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
