Frederick Eugene Metry

Fred and Alice were an amazing couple!!! We lived on their block for almost 20 years. Having been raised in MD, I had an immediate connection to Alice. Having served on the GP Lions Club, I had an immediate connection to Fred!! He would attend many outings, dinners and functions to support that or related causes. He was a generous, caring and thoughtful man. His restaurant was the best too!!! I was so lucky to share some time and a lunch with him just before we relocated last year. His presence felt like a father figure. That's how he was! All our love and sympathy extend to Ted and his siblings during this most difficult time. Fred will be greatly missed not only on Devonshire but also in our hearts! Peace!!!
