Frederick Daniel Pearse

Frederick Daniel Pearse, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on December 4, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, Frederick spent his life dedicated to his family and his passion for his work and hobbies. He resided in Macomb Township, MI, where he lived a fulfilling life surrounded by his loved ones.

Frederick was the devoted husband of Kathleen, sharing a remarkable 62 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they built a beautiful family and a lifetime of treasured memories.

A proud and loving father, Frederick is survived by his children: Mary Elizabeth (Mikey) Pearse, Michael (Michelle) Pearse, Jennifer (Mark) Kowal, Laura Handy, and Stacey (Gerry) Woycik. He was a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren: Tyler, Trevor, Nathan, Emma (Brett), Julia, Aidan, Connor, and Colin, who were the light of his life.

Frederick was also a dear brother to Daniel (the late Maryann) and the late Joan, and brother-in-law to Christine (Van) Wagner, Mary Mancinelli, Mary Ellen Abraham, Ann (Dan) Saber and Judith (Mark) McLoughlin.

Preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Genevieve Pearse, Frederick carried on their legacy with great pride and determination. His career as a millwright was more than just a job; it was a passion that he held with great pride and dedication.

Frederick had a love for fishing and spent many happy moments by the water. Some of his fondest memories were created in Au Gres, Michigan, where he spent cherished time with family, filling their lives with joy and laughter.

There will be a memorial mass held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, instate 9:30 am until a 10:00 am memorial mass at St. Isidore Catholic Church 18201 23 Mile Road (corner of Romeo Plank). Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
