Frederick A. Pendel

Frederick A. Pendel, age 90, a lifelong resident of Coraopolis, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
He was the son of the late Frank Joseph and Frieda Marie Kurto Pendel.
Fred was married to the late Geraldine (Galda) Pendel for over 57 years. He is survived by his nephews, Tom (MaryEllen) Pendel, David (Irene) Pendel both of Coraopolis; Jeff (Mary) Pendel of Portersville and Greg (Beth) Pendel of Hackettstown, NJ. He is the brother of the late Frank (Elizabeth) Pendel and the late Harry (Mary Ann) Pendel.
Fred worked for J&L Steel/LTV for over 30 years in the administrative and purchasing division. He and his wife, Gerry enjoyed traveling and visited almost every state in the US. They were long-time members of Archangel Gabriel (Holy Trinity) Parish.
Arrangements are being made through Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care in Robinson Twp. Burial will be private at Resurrection Cemetery with a memorial Mass at a later date.
