Frederick Walter DonShay Peoples, affectionately known as Freddy, was born on December 30, 1993. He was a proud graduate of Biloxi High School, Class of 2012, and continued his education at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
Freddy was a loving and devoted son, father, brother, and friend. He had a deep love for music and carpentry, passions that reflected both his creativity and strong work ethic. Above all, Freddy's world revolved around being an exceptional father to his beloved daughter, Amari Peoples, whom he cherished dearly.
A true family man, Freddy greatly enjoyed the company of his siblings and cousins and was known for the love and loyalty he showed to those closest to him. He was a dependable friend and a supportive brother, always willing to show up for the people he loved.
At the time of his passing, Freddy was employed at The Toasted Yolk Café. Known for his ambition, dedication, and hard work, he had previously earned promotions to shift leader positions in his employment history, a testament to his leadership and commitment.
On Sunday, January 11, 2026, Freddy completed his earthly journey and entered eternal rest when God called him home. He peacefully transitioned at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, Mississippi, where he began his heavenly walk.
Freddy's love, spirit, and legacy will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Waiting to welcome Freddy at the gates of Heaven were his beloved baby brother, Ezekiel Peoples; his paternal grandfather, Frederick Walter Wright; his paternal grandmother, Nazaree Peoples; Jimmie and Veronica Evans; his aunts, Dianne Coleman and Delores Coleman; his uncle, Ulysses Harrison; his great-uncle, James Walker; and his maternal grandmother Gloria Jones-Bonnett, great-grandfather, James Kettley.
Freddy leaves to cherish his precious memories, his daughter and the love of his life, Ms. Amari Rechielle Peoples; his loving mother, Ms. Shalitha Evans; and his father, Mr. Walter Peoples. He is also survived by his sister, Shanee Peoples; his baby brother, Sol Peoples (Francesca Tamez); his only nephew, Taylor Crawford; and his nieces, Adrianna Tamez-Peoples and Ka'Liyah Tamez-Peoples.
He also leaves behind his cherished great-grandmother, Airbunia Kettley; uncles Jimmy Coleman (Jonora), Reginald Peoples, Frederick Wright Sr., Derick Wright, Paul Curry, James Jones (Samara), Lucas Jones, and Jimmy Rouse (Theresa); and aunts Lucia Harrison, Angela Wright-Doleman, Lamecia Bennett (Mark), Christal Evans, Angela Green, Erica Boudreaux, Tiffany White, Jovana Fairley and Demarie Coleman. Freddy is further survived by a host of loving cousins, extended family, and friends. He held a special bond with his aunt, Ms. Cynitha Franklin, Vivian Lewis, and special friends Jarmel Harness, Janine White, and Darius Lofton, along with many others whose lives he touched.
