Frederick W. Schefsky Jr.

Frederick W. Schefsky, Jr. was born on October 16, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan to Frederick W. Schefsky and Mary Doody Schefsky. He passed away on February 17, 2024 at Symphony Applewood at the age of 73; he was of Southgate. Cherished husband of Lea Rolaff Schefsky who preceded him in death on April 5, 2020. Beloved father of Jeff (Michelle) Schefsky and JacLynne (David) Asman. Proud grandfather of Jeffrey, Cayman and Jordan. Dearest brother of Susan, Paul, Mickey, Kathy, Maryanne and the late Stephen. Frederick graduated from All Saints High School and worked for the Detroit News and also worked as a ticket agent for the Detroit Tigers; he was an avid sport fan. Visitaiton is on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 1 pm to 9 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Road (Corner of Goddard). The funeral service is on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 6 pm at the funeral home.
