Frederick Gauvin Sharp, also known by some as Fred, others by Rick, of Subiaco, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, at his home. He was born on July 29, 1952, in Union County, Tennessee, to the late Willie Conrad Sharp and Beatrice (Walker) Sharp. He was 73 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Mary Jane, Helen, Maggie, and Pauline; and two brothers, Randy and Howard.

Fred retired from Gerber, Inc. in Fort Smith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, especially deer hunting, and was a member of Harmony Assembly of God Church. "He Was Loved By All, Missed Forever."

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 14th at Harmony Assembly of God Church, located south of Paris. Officiating the service will be Pastor Tammy Frederick and Linda James Ritter. Cremation will follow after the funeral service. All services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his wife of almost 44 years, Starla (Rowan) Sharp; a daughter, Starlene Seigrist and husband Rick of Subiaco; a son, Randy Lee "Boone" Sharp of Fayetteville; a bonus daughter, Teresea Cale of Paris; a sister, Diane Orr of Knoxville, Tennessee; two brothers, Jeff Sharp of Kokomo, Indiana, and Sterling Sharp and wife Pat of Knoxville, Tennessee; (11) grandchildren, Kaylee, Cooper, Sayde, Sanea, Jaicie, Autumn, Jayden, Kiarie, Matthew, Rikki, and Mason;; two bonus granddaughters, Jayline Brackett and Arora Deckert and husband Seth; and two bonus twin great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Jasper Deckert.

Pallbearers are Terry Ritter, Robby Patterson, Jeff Sharp, and Mike Pettigrew.

Honorary pallbearers are Jason Varnell, Bryan Patterson, Isaac Rowan, and Dylan Odom.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral homes.
