Warren – Frederick G. Spain, 69, born June 17, 1956, in Hartford, CT, passed away at the age of 69 on Friday, December 19, 2025, in Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
Fred was preceded in death by his father, Alfred J. Spain. He leaves his wife, Elizabeth Keefe Spain and her children, Parker and Aja; his mother, Loretta Spain and her husband Christopher Appiah of Jackson, TN; his brother, Alfred Spain, Jr. of Stafford, CT, and his sisters, Lauren Otka of Middletown, CT and Janet Schulman of Wayne, NJ. He also leaves several nieces and nephews as well as his dear friends, Lily Barry and Cynthia Brooks.
Fred owned an independent tree care business, Arbor Line Stump Removal, for many years. He was most at peace on his farm, Hilltop Hogs, in Warren, where he raised and sold pigs. Fred was loved and respected by many people in both his business and personal life.
