On March 11, 2026, Frederick William Vandermast, Jr., beloved husband of Betty Ann Vandermast (nee Soper); devoted father of Kim Marie Longo (Robert), Cynthia Carlin Horka (Bruce) and Caroline Ann Schiller (Harry); cherished grandfather of Steven and Lindsey Chaffman, Ryan, Michael and Renee Horka, Ridgely McKinless, Kyle, Alyssa, Keegan and Emerson Schiller; dear great grandfather of Emery and Landen Chaffman, Aveline, Ellia, Cecelia, and Geneva Horka, Hudson and Shepherd Schiller; loving brother of the late Ernest Vandermast; also survived by extended family and friends.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26), on Thursday, March 19th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3911 Sweet Air Rd, Phoenix, MD 21131, on Friday, March 20th, at 11 AM. Interment Church Cemetery.
