I worked for Fred the summer of 1975 in New Canaan on a new housing development of Putnam Road. He taught me a lot . Enjoyed the working experience.

Our sincere condolences to the Whipple Family in their time of sorrow. Men like Fred Whipple are a rare breed, and we are diminished with his passing. Please remember: the parting will be short, and the reunion sweet.
