The staff of Heishman Funeral Home/Valley Funeral Service sends condolences to the family of Ms. Fredericka Ann Yeo Forster.
Fredericka Ann Yeo Forster, 79, of Mt. Jackson, VA, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Spring Arbor in Winchester. A celebration of life will be held in July of 2026, more details will be available soon.
Mrs. Forster was born November 5,1945, in Millinocket, Maine, daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine Fraser Yeo. She retired from the Federal Highway Administration after 30 years and was an active member of the Mt. Jackson United Methodist Church. During her time at the church, she was a member of the choir and dedicated much of her time serving in church mission trips and outreach activities. She was also a member of the Woman's Group, and the Dorcas as well as gave countless hours of service for the Open-Door Food Pantry in Mount Jackson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Forster and her siblings, Charles "Shibby" Yeo, Mary Jean Raposa, Ronald "Dougie" Yeo, and Hannah Albee.
She is survived by her three daughters, Kimberly Howell (Mike) of Bogart, GA, Heidi Evans (Stoney) of Monroe, GA and Amanda Johnson (Mashea) of Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Jackson Howell, Evelyn Howell, Zachary Evans, Logan Evans, Cheyenne Williamson, Hannah Morgan, Sarah Morgan, Rasheem Thornton, Cyle Brown, Tyler Brown, Autumn Brown, Tristyn Johnson Jones; sister in laws, Annie Forster, and Carolyn Yeo; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Open-Door Food Pantry in Mt. Jackson, PO Box 292, Mt. Jackson, VA 22842.
