Fred was such a wealth of knowledge in all things ponds, patient and kind in explaining. When I no longer managed ponds, I looked forward to chatting and catching up with him at the post office and the airport when our paths would cross. Always smiling and cheerful, he will be missed. My condolences to Tracey and his family.

I loved Fred. I would call him at the last minute to clean out ponds! He was patient, kind, grumbled a bit at me, but did always a beautiful job. Fred was joy to be around, work with and just a special, special man. He and Tracey were a Swan song. I send all the family my sympathies, a big space to fill. You all are blessed with long lasting memories! Cherish those.

Fred was a wonderful person and a great wealth of knowledge when he worked for the Weed and Pest District in Jackson. I had just started and he was an asset and always helpful with any questions I had. He always had a smile on his face or in his voice, when you talked to him.
