Fredrick “Tione” Maye of North Carolina died unexpectedly on November 23, 2025. He was a proud resident of Elizabeth, New Jersey for 40 years where he was educated in the public school system and worked a life long career at Elizabeth Housing Authority. He is preceded in death by his father Fredrick Robinson, his mother Evangelist Brenda Ann Austin and his daughter Quanisha Garner. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters Tionnah Garner of NC and his daughter Jationa Maye of Fl. He was the stepson of Phillip Austin. He was the brother of Sharonetta Maye, Lisa Maye, Melissa “Sue” Draughn, Philip “Lamar“ Austin, Evelyn Austin, MonaLisa Austin, Vernica Robinson-Farrar, Natasha Carmichael, Sheila Robinson-Butler, Chonita Robinson Lofton, Cynthia Robinson; grandfather to 6 and is also survived by host of other relatives and friends.
