May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

As my heart aches and the tears flow, I don´t even know where to begin.. Grandma was the strongest, most courageous, beautiful soul I have ever known. The love and kindness she radiated in life was like sunshine that warmed the soul. Her smile and laugh were contagious and beautiful, and lifted the weight of any burden you might be carrying. She was feisty and bold, and if you ever needed to know how good her soul was, turn her loose in a room full of animals. If you know her, you just know. That love and kindness will remain within me as I carry on the fire of her torch. As the one honored to have her namesake, I will continue to live as she always taught me: boldly, strong in my faith and convictions, and through love in truth. The smell of a wood stove will always take me right back to the hearth I once jumped off of while we played in her living room. I will never forget the gentle tone in her voice when she would always answer the phone with, "How are you doing, sweetheart?" Or the love in her voice when she told me how much I remind her of her when she was young and how gentle hearts will always carry a heavy load. I will never rake my leaves and not think of her instantly. And I will know that gentle breeze that blows while I do is her, reminding me she is still here in spirit, guiding me as she always has. May her spirit continue on in the hearts and actions of those who love her. Her story will forever stay alive in our memories and the stories we will continue to tell about the amazing human she was. Although her work here is done, ours is not. May we all continue to move forward through grief in love and kindness and be good to one another. That´s how we all know she would want it to be.
