Frelin Eisenbraun Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Frelin Eisenbraun, who went home to be with the Lord at the age of 92.

A man of deep faith, gentle strength, and unwavering kindness, Frelin lived a life rooted in love. He was a devoted Christian whose quiet wisdom and steadfast spirit touched everyone who knew him.

Born in North Dakota, Frelin was a true outdoorsman. He found joy and peace in nature, whether hunting in the woods, casting a line into a quiet lake, or drawing back his bow with the precision of a seasoned archer. He also had a passion for the skies, earning his pilot's license and cherishing the freedom of flight.

A gifted guitarist, Frelin filled his home with music, laughter, and warmth. He was a hard worker in every sense-dedicated to providing for his family. His hands built, fixed, and created, but they also comforted, guided, and embraced.

Family was the heart of Frelin's world. He was a loving husband, a proud father, and a doting grandfather and great-grandfather. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the stories he shared, and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his daughter Linda Barnes, son-in-law Graham Barnes, daughter-in-law Sherry Eisenbraun, Grandson Luke Eisenbraun and his wife Tannya Eisenbraun, Granddaughter Jennifer Knox and her husband Daniel Knox, Granddaughter Lynsi Barnes, Grandson Justin Barnes, and Great Grandchildren Chad, Cameron, Ahna, Bryar, Brekkin, Malachi, Alexander, John, Gabriel, Elisha, Cecilia, Ashlyn, Amaya, Jude, Ellie, and Evelyn, and preceded in death by his parents Peter and Myrtle Eisenbraun, wife Eldora Eisenbraun and son John Eisenbraun.

We will miss his gentle smile and his quiet strength. Though he has left this earth, his spirit soars-like the planes he once flew.

Graveside will be held at 10:00 a.m. on July 21, 2025, at Laurel cemetery. The memorial service will follow on July 21, 2025, at our Saviors Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow service in the Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity or church of your choice, in honor of his loving heart and enduring faith.
