Freta Mae Edwards

We first met Freta and her husband in the waiting area at dialysis ( Fort Collins. ) She was so kind, caring and outspoken ( like family. )

She would always smile and say hello to us each time we walked in for treatment, asking mom if she said goodbye to the little one ( Shady our dog. )

I'm so very glad we got to meet you Freta!

Much love to her family, we will miss her.

My deepest condolences to Freta's husband and children. I only knew her a short time. Her time at Lemay Health and Rehab. She was a very kind sweet woman. She and her husband were early risers and would often be up having hot chocolate and coffee. I am saddened by her death. The few moments I had with her and her husband, I will treasure. My deepest sympathy to Mr. Edwards, I saw the love you had for her and she for you, you were always together. And to her daughter, whom I briefly met also, your mom was a special lady. I will miss this beautiful Georgia Peach. She exposed us to yummy boiled peanuts for the first time. Instilled numerous bits of wisdom to us and shared her strong faith in God. There were many childhood stories of her growing up in the south that could be made into a beautiful book.
She was always the first to wish us happy birthday and holiday greetings.
We shared the love of backyard birds and she would always notify me as they would arrive in the spring.
We always admired how hard her and Ken worked at keeping their place beautiful. She loved her roses and petunias.
I picture her in heaven listening to her favorite country songs.
Rest In Peace..... we will miss you.
