Frieda C. Fixl

Frieda C. Fixl, 93 of Whitehall passed away peacefully at her home on October 22 2025, surrounded by her family. Born in Stiles, she was the daughter of the late Josephine (Piller) Graff.
She was the wife of Joseph F. Fixl with whom she shared 46 years of marriage prior to his passing in April of 2000.
Frieda was a graduate of Whitehall High School. She was a lifelong and faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Whitehall.
Frieda was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was kind, loving and devoted to her faith. She took pride in raising her children & was known for making the best streudel. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish fond memories include her son: Joseph W. Fixl and Nancy, daughters: Donna McKenna and companion Joseph Murante, Cynthia Fye and Dale, sons: John F. Fixl and Janet, James A. Fixl and Susan and Anthony J. Fixl and Trina, brother John "Sonny" Graff, Jr., sisters Lillian Heller and Margaret Vietro, grandchildren Alyssa Kester and Dave, Jessica Peczeniuk and Doug, Alec Fixl and Jessica, Ryan Fixl, Jarod Fixl and Braxton Fixl; great grandchildren Isabella, Olivia, Sophia, Noah and Cecilia. She was predeceased by brother in laws: Frank Heller and Pat Vietro.
There will be a calling period on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 08:30-09:30 a.m. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 3024 S. Ruch St., Whitehall, PA. Interment to follow the mass at the church cemetery in Whitehall.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made directly to the church or the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
