Frieda G. Stark

Frieda G. Stark, age 96, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Bryan Care & Rehabilitation Center. Frieda had worked at the Ohio Art Company and later as a machinist at Metal Forge in Stryker. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Bryan and more recently Trinity Lutheran Church in Bryan; as well as the Bryan AmVets, Moose and Eagles, the Edgerton VFW Auxiliary, LaBelle, Florida VFW and The Elk's in Lehigh Acres, Florida. After her retirement, Frieda worked in the CHWC Gift Shop, was a water instructor at the Bryan YWCA and worked at the Thrift Store in Bryan. Frieda was a gifted seamstress and enjoyed sewing.
Frieda was born on June 13, 1926, in Sullivan, Indiana, the daughter of Charles Dice and Geneva Marie (Bean) Crawford.
Frieda is survived by her son, Terry (Lois) Morton and daughter, Tamara (Nelson) Peterson, both of Bryan; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Richard Morton; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Brown Cemetery with Pastor Mary Beth Smith-Gunn officiating.
