Furman Gatewood Obituary
Rev. Furman P. Gatewood 76, passed away on Saturday July 22, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital, downtown. He was the son of the late Roscoe Gatewood, Jr. and Lois Pace Gatewood.
He was married to Earline Graffreaid Gatewood for 52 years.
Surviving: in addition to his wife, one son, Furman (Kristy) Gatewood, Jr., of Savannah, GA; one sister, Vera (Marshall) Wynn, Jr.; three brothers, William R. Gatewood, of Mauldin, SC, Roscoe (Teresa) Gatewood, Jr. of Simpsonville, SC and Glenn L. Ross of Piedmont, SC; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, July 29, 2023, 2:00pm, at Taylors First Baptist Church, Taylors, SC, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
